| Upcoming Application Deadline Notice |

The next OWEB application deadline is April 19, 2010*. OWEB will be accepting Restoration, Land Acquisition, Water Acquisition and Technical Assistance applications for the April 2010 cycle.
Please be sure to use only the newly posted, current application forms dated April, 2010. We will not accept applications submitted using older forms. This is because there are significant changes to the applications, including:
- New and updated reporting metrics, driven by federal reporting requirements since OWEB receives significant federal funds which are used for grants
- A revised question about how the proposed project addresses watershed process and function, driven by the OWEB Board’s strategic plan, Goal 1, which expresses the Board’s interest in investments that incorporate watershed/ecosystem functions and processes
- New questions about proposed riparian planting projects, driven by our experience with riparian planting and feedback from our regional review teams
*Please note that budget cuts have forced OWEB offices to close the day before the deadline, on Friday, April 16, 2010. Affected employees must take mandatory unpaid furloughs that day. We will re-open on Monday, April 19.

Schedule of 2009-2011 Grant Application Deadlines & Board Decisions (PDF)
All grant applications are due by 5:00 pm. Applications will only be accepted in hard copy via mail or delivery to our office in Salem. No faxes or E-mail will be accepted. If you have questions, please call our office at 503-986-0058.
